Where to watch Hunkkaar: The Roar in India: The Hindi courtroom series premiered on JioHotstar on September 25, 2026. India TV's September 27 report says the six-episode series entered that platform's top ten. That is a platform-specific snapshot, not an all-India viewing count or a rating. Check JioHotstar for your account's current access.
What is Hunkkaar: The Roar about?
The official campaign introduces Meenu Rawat, a teenager who accuses a powerful godman of sexual assault. The allegation triggers an investigation and legal battle while the accused retains devoted supporters. The premise involves sexual violence; the series is not a light family watch. This guide describes the setup from the promotional material and reports, not its outcome, and is not a review.
Cast and directors
Aneet Padda plays Meenu. Fatima Sana Shaikh, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Raghubir Yadav and Ram Kapoor are also in the ensemble. Cinema Express credits Karan D. Kapadia and Nitya Mehra as creators and says they directed with Heeraz Marfatia. It also confirms the September 25 JioHotstar premiere.
