October 4 verification: Announced; public listing still says Coming Soon.
The public Prime Video page still shows “Coming soon - September 24, 10:30 AM” despite the September 25 announcement. Its 2 hour 28 minute runtime and cast/audio details are listed metadata, not evidence of current India playback.
Don't Be Shy was announced for September 25, 2026 on Prime Video India. The Prime Video title page lists the film and its cast, but its public page still showed an earlier "Coming soon" time during our September 29 check. Check your signed-in title page for playback before subscribing.
Don't Be Shy OTT release date and platform in India
The announced streaming date was September 25 on Prime Video, according to Scroll's trailer report. Prime Video's public listing has not updated consistently: it says "Coming soon – September 24, 10:30 AM" rather than confirming playback for our location. We cannot independently confirm that every India account can play it now.
Cast, director and story
Sreeti Mukerji directed the 2026 romantic comedy. Prime Video credits Aarushi Bajaj, Ansh Duggal, Bianca Arora and Piyush Khati among the cast, with Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt as producers. Shyamili "Shy" Das has a plan to get back at Mayank after their breakup. An unexpected friendship with Mayank's new girlfriend Tara changes her outlook. This is the platform's premise; we have not screened the film.
